You must understand that Dominion is God’s mandate for mankind ~ Genesis 1: 28 KJV. We have five mandates from God according from creation: replenishment, multiplication, fruitfulness, subjugation and dominion. Reading: Joshua 14: 6 – 12 KJV
Why do we need dominion?
- We live in a time of satanic lawlessness, wickedness and recklessness.
- We live in a season of multiplied oppression, multiplied affliction, and multiplied infirmity ~ 1 John 5: 19 KJV.
What is dominion?
- Existence in absolute
- Existence in total command and control.
- Dominion means existence in conquest/ triumph ~ 2 Corinthians 2: 14 KJV.
Examples of men that dominated by faith.
- CALEB: Caleb searched the Promised Land with Joshua. He refused to grow old. He had a young man's mentality - In every Promised Land there are giants ~ 1 Corinthians 16: 9 KJV.
- DAVID: David had extraordinary favour from God and took charge of a situation that was humiliating to God's people ~ 1 Samuel 17: 26 - 45 KJV
What to learn from the David/ Goliath encounter?
- Do not rely on your physical strength in confronting diabolical powers
- Do not allow the enemy to have the final say over your matter
- David declared the end of the battle before the battle was fought.
- When your destiny is in contention, silence is an enemy.
What are the secrets of dominating by Faith?
- Be confirmed as a child of God ~ John 1: 12 KJV. At times assumption can lead to frustration ~ Romans 8: 19; Romans 1: 4 KJV.
- Understanding who you are in God ~ Psalm 49: 20 NKJV; Esther 6: 13 MSG.
- Understanding what is yours in God. Understand the capacity and capability of your God ~ Luke 15: 31 TPT; 1 Corinthians 3: 21 MSG/ TPT. It is good to have character but character without revelation is equal to frustration.
- Boldly declare your revelation with audacity. Do not wait for action to say something ~ 2 Corinthians 4: 13 KJV. Your beliefs are only confirmed if they are declarable ~ Psalm 45: 1 KJV.
