How did the anointing turn things around in the life of Saul
- The anointing released him into his destiny – he was roaming in destiny and anointing gave direction of his destiny
- The anointing recovered or restored of Saul’s losses in 1 Samuel 10:2 - When you have departed from me today, you will find two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say to you, ‘The donkeys which you went to look for have been found. And now your father has ceased caring about the donkeys and is worrying about you, saying, “What shall I do about my son?” ’
- The anointing terminated his confusion - 1 Samuel 9:6 NKJV – it gave him direction to where he is going. In the place of confusion, the anointing gives direction - And he said to him, “Look now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass. So let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way that we should go.”
- The anointing destroyed stagnation and released acceleration – the Word of God gave him direction after receiving anointing.
- The anointing pulled into his life the right or meaning or impactful relationship – 1 Samuel 10:4 NKJV - And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall receive from their hands. Read 2 Thessalonians 1-6

The depression that many people are suffering because of the potentials that have not been expressed.

Obedience
- Isaiah 1:19 – If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land – The good of the land is waiting for most of us but the barriers is disobedience. Every promise in the bible comes with a condition. Every promised without a responsibility is not a promise indeed. There are things that God wants us to do, but there are also things that God expects us to do.
- Acts 10:38 - how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Question to ponder on: To what extent are you will to honour and obey God – does your life gives God glory or sadness? 2 Corinthians 9:8
