Facts and truths about praise
- Worship is our purpose for living. Read Psalm 102:18 (CEV) | Psalm 145:4 (NLT). God created us to worship Him. Every generation is called to declare His mighty works and praise Him.
- Praise and worship are our destiny in heaven. Revelation 15:2–4 (CEV) and Revelation 4:10–11 (TPT). We should keep praising God as preparation for our eternal worship in heaven.
- Your praise determines your opportunities. Isaiah 22:20–22 (NKJV) Praise positions us for divine opportunities and opens doors that God has prepared.
- Praise is the pathway to loyalty and authority in God’s Kingdom. Genesis 49:8–10 (GNT) The tribe of Judah (Praise) was given leadership and authority.
- Praise can make the difference between losing and winning in life. 2 Chronicles 20:22–23 (MSG). When Judah began to praise; God fought their battle and gave them victory.

How powerful is praise?
Praise is a spiritual climate changer. Psalm 114:1 (KJV) | Isaiah 45:2 (KJV) Praise changes spiritual atmospheres and prepares the way for God’s intervention.
Praise impacts your life by creating a climate of favor and enlightenment. Acts 2:47 (KJV) and 1 Samuel 16:21 (KJV). What we need most is God’s favor, and praise attracts His favor.
Praise is a spiritual obstacle crusher. Joshua 6:20 (TPT) | Acts 16:25–26 (TPT). Praise breaks barriers, opens closed doors, and brings divine breakthroughs.
Praise activates the supply system of God. Psalm 67:5–7 (KJV) and 1 Samuel 7:12 (AMP) - Praise precedes increase and reminds us that our help comes from the Lord.
Praise is the key to conquest and victory in life – it’s a serious weapon in the hand of a believer to fight the enemies of your destiny. When you have come to a point of time and have nothing else to do, it’s time to praise and when you praise, you transfer the battle to God and is able to fight that battle. – Psalms 149:9

Why we should praise God for the first half of the year
- Because He has multiplied His help. In Jeremiah 30:19 (KJV) - God has continually helped, sustained, and preserved us.
- Because He has frustrated the plans of the wicked. Isaiah 44:25 (NKJV)| Isaiah 8:10 (GNT) | Acts 5:18–19 (TPT) - God has overturned the plans of the enemy and preserved His people.
- God has given us the privilege to get to the middle of the year – Lamentations 3:23
Praise is:
- Our purpose for living.
- Our preparation for heaven.
- A key to opportunities.
- A pathway to loyalty and authority.
- A weapon that brings victory.
- A spiritual climate changer.
- A magnet for God’s favor.
- A crusher of obstacles.
- A trigger for God’s supply.
- A reason for thanksgiving as we reflect on God’s faithfulness in the first half of the year.
