The wonders of Thanksgiving and Praise

Praise and thanksgiving ought to be a lifestyle among many Christians as commanded in Acts 2: 27, Psalms 114: 1 and Psalm 34: 1 KJV.  God expects us to be praising Him every day ~ Luke 10: 21 KJV. Therefore, thanklessness is an injustice to self ~ Daniel 4: 29 – 37 KJV.  If you choose not to be humble, God will help you to be humble.  It is also good to note that God can do without anybody.

What is thanksgiving?

1. Thanksgiving is acknowledgement of God's hand on our lives.
2. Thanksgiving is appreciation in anticipation. We do not thank what we have received; but, we thank Him for what we are yet to receive ~ John 6: 11.

What is Praise?

1. Praise is focusing on the personality of the focus of God and His word.

What is the difference between praise and thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving provokes the power of God to work for us while praise invites the personality of God to work with us.

What are the wonders of Praise and Thanksgiving?

1. Thanksgiving and praise qualifies us to receive the promises of God ~ Hebrews 10: 36 KJV and 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 KJV.
2. Thanksgiving and praise facilitates returns on our investments, in the kingdom and on our works ~ Proverbs 12: 14 GNT. Your reward depends on what you say ~ Hebrews 13: 15 KJV.
3. Thanksgiving and praise grant us access to revelation that changes us from glory to glory ~ Galatians 2: 2; 2 Corinthians 12: 7 KJV. Thanks givers are people who enjoy revelation ~ John 6: 6 : 2 Kings 3: 14 KJV; Isaiah 30: 29 - 30     Our voice in praise will activate the voice of God in revelation.
4. Thanksgiving and Praise grants access to God's presence. It moves us from strength to strength ~ Psalm 84: 7 KJV. Thanksgivers are full of vitality and strength Psalm 100: 4; Psalm 42: 5; Psalm 43: 5 NKJV. You can use the Word of God to talk yourself out of discouragement, frustration and despair.
5. Thanksgiving and Praise ushers the force of a dawn into our lives. Material things can give us happiness which is conditional and temporal but joy comes from the Lord ~ Habakkuk 3: 17 - 19 NKJV. 'If you want to get to the high places in life, learn to give God high praises' ~ Psalm 149: 6; Acts 16: 25 NKJV 
6. Thanksgiving and Praise is a perfector of our testimonies. Perfector of what God has started or done ~ Philippians 1: 6 AMP.
7. Those who boast in God will have their destinies boosted in life. Those who brag in the name of the Lord ~1 Corinthians 1: 31.
8. God fulfills the destinies of those who boast in him. Thanksgiving triggers the supernatural naturally into their destiny ~ Psalms 92: 1 - 2, 10; Psalm 89 : 20 - 24 KJV
9. Intense/corrosive thanksgiving will always result in extensive blessings. You cannot give a thanks giver where you left him last time because thanksgiving is a level changer.
10. Thanksgiving is the beginning and the ending of prayer. You have not prayer until you have given thanks.
