- Mercy restrains the anger of the enemy - It frustrates the negative expectations of the enemy against your life. God disappoints and frustrates the hands of the crafty. Isaiah 44:25
- Mercy holds back the consequences that you deserve - Refer the story of Cain and Abel. Mercy sets Christians free when we repent. In the economy of God, Mercy triumphs over judgment
- Mercy activates the judgment of God on the enemy - Hebrews 26:27|Psalms 7:15. The worst thing that can happen to any man is fighting someone that is under the mercy of God.
- Mercy qualifies the unqualified - Read Romans 9:16 NLT - its God who decides to give mercy, we can neither choose nor decide it
