Thanksgiving is the shortest form and powerful prayer that can be made any time.  Thanksgiving is the expression of your gratitude to someone who has done something for you – Thanksgiving is expressed through words and actions (gifts)

Being grateful to God is the most powerful service to God. While God answers all the prayer requests, the act of thanksgiving is limited amongst the believers.

We need to praise and worship God for the many things we don’t ask, God answers them without raising prayers.

Give thanks to God every day when you wake you. We don’t rise up from sleep because of our own power. Some people die in their sleep, some died. Therefore, it is always a privilege to be awake.

Thanksgiving is the act that God wants from us. Thanksgiving can be praise and worship, testimony. Thanksgivings, testimony, praise and worship are the only portions God receive from Christians in service – all others such as sermons, the preaching, the teachings are acts to benefit the congregation.

In Psalm 92:1-5: the bible accounts that it’s a good thing to give thanks to the God.

It is important to note that the faithfulness of God is both generic and personal. Most times we worry about what God has not done and forget the acts He has done. This hinders us from the greater blessings. Gratitude gives access for more – when you give thanks you show God his loving kindness.

Psalm 103:1 – We need to thank God at all-time whether the things are good or bad, give thanks to the Lord, whether confused, worried, frustrated, stop complaining and bless the lord.  Psalm 103:2: - stop complaining and remember all the benefits, how he watched over you.

As a grateful Christian, don’t stress over the things God has not done – when you are stressed, you block the blessings that are more to come.

You are special in your own way. Don’t pray to be like someone else, you don’t know their problems. When you pray to be like another one, you may attract problem in your lives.

How do we do thanksgiving? Psalm 81:1-3

  • Sing aloud with your trumpet – don’t be ashamed to give thanksgiving.
  • Raise the song to God for what he has done – let your children know that you are man who melts before God
  • 1 Chronicles 16:29 –
  • We give God because he is almighty – Thanksgiving and tithe giving is act of thanksgiving
  • Blow the trumpet – speak of God’s power and grace
  • Establish your statute as a child of God
  • There are dimensions of honour, realms you can unlock by only being grateful. 1 Chronicles 16:29|Jeremiah 30:19 –
  • Luke 17:1 – Gratitude brings healing and wholeness. It opens new doors. Honour with and doors are open to us. Honour is more powerful than respect.

Service 2: Thanksgiving with with Apostle Victor Uchegbulam

Psalm 92:1 – God dwells in power – when God wants to communicate, he shows His power, when you live in the atmosphere of God, you will always have and see God’s power.

That’s why the heaven lack no power – The angels are bowing to God 24/7 saying holy, Holy and worshipping him to generate power.

While prayer is good, worship has power than prayer. Except we worship in our fresh. When you worship in the spirit, it changes the equation. Learn to be grateful and use your mouth to speak positivity and excellence in your life.

We are of the world but not of the world – Jesus affirmed, therefore, we must worship God in spirit. If you don’t have revelation of the power in the word, you will be worried about the things of this environment.

When the disciples experienced the storm, they said they were perishing, and Jesus calmed the storm.

What you say gives access to the angels to work with. You must be careful with your words and your tongue. The angels’ work with the words of our mouth, they act according to the assignment given by our tongue.

In your casual nature is when your spirituality is determined, what you say them has power than what you are praying. When we come to church, we are humbled enough and we activate our spirituality.

Cultivate the culture of thanksgiving and gratitude at all times whether you are in church, out of church or in your corporate environment.

In Psalm 92:1 - God has made me and I will triumph in the work of your hands. It is important of what you pray, how you say it and how you pray.
