What are the causes of captivities so that we can avoid them

- Self-imposed /lifestyle imposed captivity - Zechariah 5:1-4. If you take anything that is not your own, or else your inviting curses unto your life.
- Ancestral/ Parental transaction with the enemy - Joshua 7:24-25 | 2 Kings 5:27
- Limiting mindset - Proverbs 23:7| 2 Cor. 10:3-6| 2 Timothy 2:24-26 - You can through the mindset oppose yourself - Matthew 18:18. Your mentality can be a limiting factor to your destiny - Romans 12:2|Isaiah 54:2
- Wrong confession - Proverbs 6:|Proverbs 18:9| Mather 12:37. Words of your mouth can either bring you liberty or captivity. What is not your intention should not be your utterance
- Spirit of fear - Isaiah 14:3 | Hebrews 2:14-15. Captivities and bondages respond to fear. Nothing comes looking for you unless you fear it. Negativities of life flow in the direction of fear. Allowance for fear equals allowance of evil
- Wrong company - Proverbs 13:20
Ways of freedom
- Renew your mind with the truth of the Word - mentality of Christians is different from the mentality of the world
- Don't do what you used to do before - Acts 17:30. Don't go back to Egypt
- Rev 3:20 - Jesus has come to share with us what is ours
