
- Dismantling the controlling principalities of the territory. Every territory has a principality E.g the prince of Persia who withheld Daniel’s prayers. Read ~ Matthew 12: 29; Mark 3: 27; Luke 11: 21 – 22; Psalm 24: 7 - 9 KJV. Anything you want to enter into if you are not ready to confront the strongman, you are not yet ready, to break into any city deal with the strongman.
- Take charge of the territory through prophetic action ~ Deuteronomy 11: 24; Joshua 3: 13 NKJV; Genesis 13: 17; 1 Corinthians 1: 25 KJV. Prophetic action goes beyond walking, even seeing is a prophetic action ~ Genesis 13: 14 KJV. There are things that can never become a reality in your life until you can see it. If you can see it, you can seize it.
- Occupy the territory ~ Luke 19: 13 KJV. Let your presence in that place/ market place be known ~ Matthew 5: 13 - 14 NKJV.
- Function/ operate in excellence ~ Proverb 22: 29 NLT/ MSG – “Observe people who are good at their work – skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don’t take a backseat to anyone.” Excellency is the doorway to territorial dominion ~ Psalm 8: 1 KJV. Competition is meant to bring out the best from people. People are naturally attracted to where excellency is speaking ~ 1 Samuel 16: 18 MSG. The way you appear is the way you will be addressed.
- Accept responsibility. For you to have dominion you need to have responsibility; for you to have a lion share, you need to have a lion heart. You lead from the front ~ 1 Samuel 17: 20 – 25 KJV Opportunities flow in the direction of responsibility.
- Be fruitful and multiply. In whatever you are doing, try to raise some people because among those you raise will be the ones to raise you in future ~ Genesis 9: 19; Joshua 18: 1 KJV.
- Announce your dominion by your declaration. Anywhere God has positioned you are meant to maintain that territory; you maintain it through your declaration. As long as it is not too big for your mouth it will not be too big for your hand to carry (what you can’t say with your mouth, you are not allowed to carry) ~ Acts 16: 25 KJV.
