The gate in scriptures has four meaning:
- Point of entrance
- Points of exit - Psalm 24:8-9
- Points of control - he who takes over the gates takes dominion
- Represent points of authority, power and dominion
The worst things that can happen to an individual is to allow the enemy to take over the gate of your life

Eight major gates the enemy is contending with
- The Head Gate:
- Your head is an access point through which negative and positive things can get into your life
- Kings are crowned with the crown on the head - Priests during ordination are poured oil on the head.
- The oil that you carry on your head represents glory
- Your head is the symbol of your destiny
- Therefore there is contention over your head by the enemy
- The Eye Gate: Matthew 6:22-23|Job 31:1
- The eye represents camera’s lens, capturing images that shape our memories - these can be positive or negative
- Evil and good can have access to your life if you don't control what you watch
- Spirit and demons flow through the eye gate and therefore destinies can be corrupted through the eyes
- The Mouth Gate:
- The mouth gate causes daily massive destruction
- Many people have spoken their way out of breakthroughs and miracles
- With the tongue, one can kill or make a life - James 3:8
- The Ear Gate:
- Be careful with what you hear - Romans 10:17
- The ear gate has the capacity to destroy your life
- If faith comes by hearing, so is fear
- You are not permitted to listen or pay attention to anything you hear
- The heart is the processing point of what we hear
- The Heart Gate:
- The heart is the power room of life
- It is where the bad, evil and ugly are stored
- Jesus and the devil are in contention for your heart - Romans 10:10
- You must therefore guard your heart
- The Navel Gate:
- The connection between the mother and child in the womb
- Many people's problems such as generational problems, stared from the navel
- The Reproductive Gate:
- The actions that place at the reproductive gate is a highly spiritual transaction
- 1 Corinthians 6:18 - cautions that fornication is the only sin that is committed against one's own body
- The Hand Gate
- Hand is symbolic
- Not everybody should play with your hands
