What do family battles imply? They imply:
- There are limiting and disempowering forces of generations
- Negative bloodline transfers possibly from parental transactions with the devil
- Families constitute trees and branches
- Prosperity and success becomes a mirage where families have been affected by disastrous parental transactions. This makes battles a second name of most families.
- The problem of family battles and curses has turned:- goldmines into dustbins; results into insults; great destinies into little destines; starts into scars; light into darkness; eagles into chicken among others.
Scriptural examples:
- 2 Kings 5: 27 MSG – Naaman's disease was to affect all family members who were no part of the transaction. ~ Revelation 12:11 KJV. Jeremiah 22: 29 - 30 NLT - The earth gives records because there no human being that does not touch the earth. READ Judges 5:20 - 21 NKJV
- 1 Samuel 3: 13 - 14 MSG – There are things people do in church and they affect unborn destinies e.g Eli's Family ~ 1 Kings 2: 27 MSG.
- Joshua 6: 26 NLT – The preceding verse triggered a chain of events g 1 Kings 16: 34; 2 Kings 2: 19 GNT.
-

What are the forces for triumphing over family battles?
- The Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus remains God’s major ‘joker’ for triumphing over battles of life ~ Hebrews 12: 24 NKJV; 1 Peter 1: 18 – 19 CEV. You may have inherited good traits from your ancestors but the negative traits need no permission to come into you. 1 Corinthians 10: 16; Zechariah 9: 11 AMP
- The force of prayer and fasting ~ Isaiah 58: 6 NKJV.
- The revelation of truth ~ John 8: 32; John 1: 1 – 5 NKJV. Truth is stronger than fact. But Christians over empower the challenge (fact). Fact is not superior to truth. To rob fact of its potency it must be confronted with scripture. The knowledge of God’s word is the reason for triumphing ~ 2 Corinthians 2: 14; Romans 8: 37
- The prophetic mantle ~ Hosea 12: 13; Numbers 6: 23 - 26 KJV/ CEV
- The power of the blessing ~ Psalm 112: 1 – 3 NKJV. Whatever connects you to the blessings disconnects from captivity. But it connects you to your deliverance and disconnects you from captivity ~ Genesis 12: 2 NKJV
What are the things that connect you to the blessing?
- Kingdom service ~ Exodus 25: 25
- Tithe and offering ~ Malachi 3: 10 NKJV
- Righteousness ~ Psalm 5: 12; 112: 2 KJV
- Obedience ~ Deuteronomy 28: 1 – 2
- Sacrifice connects you the blessing and excuses you from the curse. If it is not sacrificial it is not acceptable to God.
