Prayer is a very potent spiritual force that carries both preservative and protective power. This is to say that prayerful people are durable – they last in life. This is how the prayer preserves: Prayer acts as a shield around the prayerful. The shield is invisible and those who pray are mobile fire carriers and if fire cannot be extinguished nobody can extinguish them.
Prayerful people are never or vulnerable people. How it happens? Prayer especially intensive prayers handle the plots, plan and agenda of the enemy ~ Isaiah 8: 10 MSG; 1 Corinthians 14: 2 NKJV. Therefore, never ignore the signal/ burden to pray. As a Christian, endeavour to maximize the night hour to pray (before 5: 00 a.m.) ~ Mark 1: 35 NKJV.
Prayer establishes the presence of God around the prayerful ~ Genesis 19: 27 (early in the morning begins from 3: 00 a.m.); 1 Kings 17: 1 NKJV. The presence of God is a preservative of life and destiny ~ Psalm 91: 1; Psalm 23: 4 KJV. The presence of God is a pricy commodity that does not come cheaply. The presence of God is destructive to evil that anywhere God is, evil cannot thrive there ~ Psalm 105: 14 -15; 1 Samuel 5: 1 - 6 KJV. The presence of God is a terror to the kingdom of darkness ~ Genesis 35: 1 - 5 NKJV.
Prayer activates the ministry of angels ~ 2 Kings 1: 14 - 15; Daniel 6: 21 - 22; Daniel 9: 20 - 21; Psalm 103: 20; Hebrews 1: 14 NKJV. Angels are established around our lives for protection and preservation ~ Psalm 34: 7 KJV. Angels are assigned for urgent intervention in the affairs of our lives ~ Daniel 9: 21 - 22 NKJV.
Prayer facilitates spiritual sensitivity and divine guidance Jeremiah 33: 3 NKJV. At the place of prayer negative plans of the enemy are unveiled and nullified. At the place of prayer actions to avoid are identified and avoided.
