The fall of Adam brought humanity under the bondage of sin and spiritual death (separation from God). The entire human race became lost, without hope and under the power of Satan. Therefore, every man is born with the need for salvation. He needs freedom from sin and its earthly and eternal consequences. He needs reconciliation back to his Father, Creator and God, so that he would be restored to God’s original purposes for mankind. This can only be found by faith in the finished work of Christ! Ephesians 2:1-7, 12-19.
The most important thing after the new birth is growth and maturity. The new birth is not an end; it is a means to an end. That is why the bible says “as new born babies desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2 ). Just like a baby in the natural cannot develop without feeding on food, the new creature (the believer) cannot develop spiritually without feeding on the word.
The Christian life is an unbroken relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. The life-core of every relationship is communication. In our relationship with the Father, prayer is the live-wire that sustains that relationship. Prayer is the spiritual breathing in and out for the believer. What natural breathing is to the natural life is what prayer is to the spiritual life. As the natural life withers without respiration, so does one’s spiritual life wither away without prayer. The new life which we receive from God needs to be sustained through constant fellowship with God. In the place of prayer and fellowship with God, we get filled afresh with the Holy Spirit. This guarantees our victory in every area of life.
Therefore this Ministry is charged with equipping the Saints on how to keep the great commission given by our Master and Savoir Jesus Christ, the assurance of salvation, Christian devotion through daily studying the word of God, how to start a new walk with Christ, the importance of baptism, Holy Communion and the need for spiritual warfare
