In Genesis 1: 28, God designed man right from creation to be fruitful. Even after the mess of Adam, God brought Noah into the scene and restored the purpose and plan of fruitfulness.

In our ways or definitions, we are made to be fertile, successful in whatever we do for life. Every good gift, God desired for his children.

Though God mandated to be fruitful, not all of us are fruitful, despite the efforts, the hard work and input one invests in. We need to ask ourselves, why we are not fruitful yet God mandated us to be fruitful.

The Keys to fruitfulness

  • Abide in Christ – John 15:1-6. For us to be fruitful; we must abide in Christ: It means that you must be genuinely born again. You should not be a lukewarm. Job 22:21
  • Receive and believe the word of God for fruitfulness – Psalm 1:3. The word ignites your spirit. When you receive the word of God, you get to believe what you have read and then receive the manifestation of what you believed – Mark 11:24. A word received and not believed cannot work for you.
  • Pray your way to fruitfulness - Prayer increases the function of your destiny. You must contend against any forces that contend with the prayerlessness. Talk of Hannah, Esther. When you continually pray, you don’t need to look for people to pray for you because we all carry the same power of God - 1 John 4:4
